Company Overview: Dedrone is the world’s most trusted smart airspace security company. Hundreds of commercial, government and military customers around the world rely on Dedrone’s comprehensive, command and control (C2) solution to protect against the persistent and escalating threat from drones while enabling “good” drones to fly. By leveraging AI/ML, Dedrone is the only solution that provides continuous, autonomous interrogation and verification of drones that enables both multi-sensor and multi-mitigation options onto a single fused "pane-of-glass". Whether on-premise / air-gapped or in the cloud, Dedrone customers can easily detect, track, identify, analyze, and mitigate drone threats.

We’re looking for an experienced Reverse Engineering Expert (m/f/x) in the field of radio-frequency communication protocols. Our state-of-the-art RF sensor technology uses software defined radios in combination with high-performance signal processing to analyze, classify and identify hundreds of drone communication protocols in real time. We’re expanding our team with passionate experts to design and build the next evolution of our platform.

You will…

  • Analysis and feature extraction from within the frequency spectrum using Dedrone proprietary tools and common SDR frameworks
  • Reverse engineer and document protocols at control layer and hardware reverse engineering for selected models
  • Build up knowledge base of common protocols and communication patterns
  • Work closely with DroneDNA team to maintain leadership in drone detection technologies

You have…

  • Degree in electrical or communications engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics or similar
  • Extensive knowledge of RF (radio frequency) based communication protocols, modulations, real time digital signal processing and frequency analysis
