About You
As an AI Scientist in the Drug Discovery & Development team you have prior experience in developing and implementing novel deep learning methods for chemistry, while upholding a track record of innovative AI/ML research demonstrated through publications in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. You are curiosity driven, keen on interacting with expert biologists and chemists, as well as excited about the broader context of drug discovery.

As an AI Scientist, you will be a crucial member of our core AI team, comprising highly creative and talented peers who are all experts in developing state of the art AI models for molecular modelling. With team members, you will have the responsibility and freedom to initiate and drive new directions that advance deep learning models for chemistry, impacting drug discovery and clinical development. You will also have the chance to work closely with interdisciplinary experts with world-class biology, drug discovery, and clinical expertise.
Minimum Qualifications
The specific compensation package for each role depends on factors including experience, qualifications and level. We anticipate the range for this role to be $150,000 to $200,000 per year.

Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science / Machine Learning or similar fields
- Peer reviewed published research in developing AI methods (example in ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, Nature, Science, Cell etc.)
- Experienced in developing and implementing new deep learning methods
- Experienced in PyTorch / Jax, training and inference of large models on GPUs
- Scientifically curious with a strong interest to work on interdisciplinary teams
- 3+ years of work experience post-PhD in an industrial research setting or equivalent academic postdoctoral experience
- Experience in working at the interface of AI and Chemistry
- Experience working on large scale distributed training and inference
- Experience communicating research for public audiences of peers
- Participation in the open-source community
