We're seeking a passionate Developer Advocate to bridge the gap between our powerful data transformation platform and the developer community. In this role, you'll create compelling technical content, showcase Unstructured's capabilities through demos, and engage with the developer ecosystem to drive adoption and gather feedback.

Create highly technical content (blog posts, tutorials, sample applications) that demonstrate how to use Unstructured

Develop technical content explaining how Unstructured integrates with downstream RAG components

Represent Unstructured at local San Francisco tech events, hackathons, and AI/ML conferences

Gather user feedback through content engagement to inform product improvements

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy in all content

Experience as a Developer Advocate or in a similar technical content creation role

3+ years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering, solution engineering, or machine learning.

Fluency with the modern AI stack: LLMs, vector databases, RAG, Agentic frameworks, etc.

Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical material to diverse audiences

Proven ability to create engaging content for technical audiences

Coding proficiency in Python

Hands-on experience with document understanding and OCR

Previous experience creating educational content for developer tools or platforms

Background in both software development and/or data engineering

Established online presence through technical content creation
