As Relyance AI’s Manager, BDR, you will be responsible for leading a team of Business Development Representatives, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with potential customers. Your expertise in sales development, team management, and strategic planning will be crucial in achieving our business objectives.
As a Manager, BDR, your role will include:
- Building and managing a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
- Developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth through effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
- Generating pipeline yourself and booking meetings with the AE’s.
- Overseeing the lead management process, ensuring proper lead assignment, tracking, and follow-up to maximize conversion rates and optimize the sales pipeline.
- Establishing key performance metrics for the BDR team, tracking performance against targets, and providing regular reports to leadership, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align BDR efforts with overall business objectives, providing feedback and insights to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Creating and delivering training programs to enhance the BDR team's knowledge, skills, and effectiveness in lead generation, objection handling, and value-based selling.
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the market to identify new business opportunities and ensure the BDR team remains knowledgeable and competitive.
This role could be a fit for you if you bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a lead capacity of a BDR team.
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team from scratch, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
- Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales and lead generation processes.
- Proven track record of generating pipeline and hitting quotas
Bonus points for:
- Experience building a BDR function from scratch.
- Experience pitching to our buyer persona (Data Privacy Officers, Chief Legal Officers, CISOs, etc)
- Knowledge of the data privacy landscape and emerging trends

As such, the base salary pay range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000.
