About Stealth Co
We help people with severe physical health conditions improve their quality of life. Today, we provide behavioral healthcare to the 17 million cancer patients in the US as an extension of their medical treatment.
One out of every three cancer patients has a diagnosed mental health condition but only 25% of them receive treatment for their mental health challenges, exacerbating quality of life, worsening health outcomes, and increasing their total cost of care to the system. We are on a mission to provide relevant, accessible behavioral health at the point of care that is embedded within a patient’s oncology practice. We are backed by a premier venture capital firm and are building a world-class team of clinicians, technologists, and healthcare operations builders passionate about helping cancer patients improve their quality of life.
We ensure a patient’s behavioral healthcare journey parallels and supports their cancer treatment journey. We use Collaborative Care, pioneered by the AIMs Center at the University of Washington, to provide patient-centered care and evidenced-based techniques and incorporate interventions developed by the latest research in psycho-oncology. Our model delivers additional revenue to the practices we partner with, improves patient outcomes, and redefines what it means to deliver whole-person cancer care.
About The Role
We are looking for a part-time medical director to join our team. The right candidate has the unique opportunity to lead innovation in cancer care and design integration of behavioral health within oncology practices. The part-time medical director (5-10 hrs per week) can evolve into a full-time medical director role.
