Hover is looking for a seasoned Account Executive to join our World Class Sales organization. You are someone who thrives in fast paced environments with a unique mix of intelligence, creativity, grit, and passion with a proven track record of overachieving your targets. You find success through hunting new business, forging relationships, understanding your clients needs, and working cross-functionally to find solutions that are mutually beneficial to all parties involved. You have experience utilizing consultative selling solutions and understand how to work with various stakeholders within a business to acquire new logos and close 6 figure deals.

The Large Accounts team has a “customer-first” mindset and manages resources and initiatives across the business to ensure our customers are set up to optimize use of the Hover platform resulting in measurable returns. We have a “Think, Do, Serve” value set that ensures we work collaboratively, authentically, and openly both internally and externally. You will be joining a diverse group of proven professionals with unique backgrounds and skill sets that collectively keep elevating the team as a whole both professionally and personally.

You will contribute by:

  • Focusing on generating new business by selling Hovers solutions across your book of accounts
  • Partner with SDR / BD teams by receiving leads and taking them from discovery to close
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders from daily users of the product to C-Level executives
  • Hunt in an assigned BoB of accounts with the ability to prospect and shift your Book of Business as you see fit
  • Negotiate complex and creative deal structures in a clear and concise manner
  • Articulate and demonstrate the Hover value proposition, creating excitement and enthusiasm among prospects
  • Partner with our BD team to build channel partnerships and mutually beneficial relationships
  • Partner with our Account Management team by providing effective handoffs of net new opportunities through a specified process inclusive of robust SFDC data
  • Being comfortable in a remote working environment but also understand the need to be in person in front of customers
  • Closing Deals and overachieving your targets

Your background includes:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience within enterprise software
  • Knowledge of content management, cloud, or other complex SaaS applications preferred
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong account prioritization, territory planning, and team-selling experience
  • Strong track record of navigating within large, strategic organizations
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Experience presenting to senior managers and the C-suite
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Ability to effectively hunt for new prospects and achieve new logos revenue targets
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptive
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required

Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 30-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least once a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$130,000 annually + commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
