Core Accounting & Compliance
Own day-to-day accounting operations: journal entries, reconciliations, AR/AP, and general ledger management.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping in accordance with Kazakhstan accounting standards.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Handle payroll calculation and related reporting.
Ensure full tax compliance and timely submission of all required tax filings.

Prepare and submit statutory reports via:
Cabinet of Taxpayer
Astana Hub reporting
National Bank reporting
National Statistics reporting
Costing, Capitalization & Financial Structure
Capitalization of payroll and direct overheads to IP rights.
Distribution of payroll and direct overheads by Platforms.
Manage CAPEX structure divided into two major groups (IT and Administrative).
Ensure proper separation of intracompany transactions.
Oversee revenue distribution by Clusters, Projects, and Platform support.
Implement expense allocation across Clusters and Projects.
Maintain mapping and control using PPPD codes and КУП/НУП classifications.
Policy, Controls & Performance Framework
Prepare and maintain the Company Accounting Policy (including capitalization approach, economic logic, and performance alignment).
Identify efficiency metrics together with operational teams and implement methods for their evaluation and digitization.

Define and document requirements for the Data Office regarding:
Company-level reporting and metrics.
Project / product-level reporting and analytics.
Regulatory & Astana Hub Compliance
Ensure Astana Hub compliance by identifying control points, defining measurable indicators, setting checkpoints, and establishing a structured reporting process.
Your Must-Haves
Strong hands-on experience in 1C Accounting.
Experience working with 1C ZUP (Payroll & HR module).
Practical experience using the Cabinet of Taxpayer.
Proven experience preparing and submitting Kazakhstan tax forms and statutory reports.
Solid understanding of local tax legislation and accounting regulations.
Experience managing payroll, compliance, and full-cycle bookkeeping.
Highly organized, accurate, and deadline-driven.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the accounting function.
Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
Professional working proficiency in Russian, Kazakh & English.

On-site role in Almaty office.
Working hours: 12pm - 10pm, KZ time.
