Mission 🚀

  • The Tag group develops a TypeScript tracker collecting anonymous data to feed Contentsquare SAAS products. It respects privacy, personal user information, internet security protocols and regulations. It collects all the user interactions (pageviews, clicks, mouse movements, scrolling, ...) of the web visitors of our thousands of enterprise-grade clients (i.e. Microsoft, Verizon, Wallmart, HSBC, Disney, Ikea, ...) and millions of small and medium businesses (through the acquisition of Hotjar and Heap).
  • As the tracker is loaded and executed on millions of user sessions a day, the Tag group is driven by three main pillars: code quality, security, and performance.
  • We pay a lot of attention to performance, compatibility with all available browsers and versions, support for the diversity of front-end frameworks, anticipation of new rules and regulations to foresee future developments that could break the functioning of our data collection.
  • The data flow that powers Contentsquare Products naturally starts with the tracker, giving it a critical role in the construction of our product portfolio. We are proud to continuously enrich our product functionalities linked to session replay recordings, tag configurator capabilities, error tracking, merchandising data collection and so on, while guaranteeing the leanest impact on customer websites.
  • In the last years and even more so with Project One, the Tag group has embarked on an ambitious mission: Deliver the best-in-class Tag, recognized as such by our customers, the analytics market and our competitors! 🚀

Key role & responsibilities

  • Ensure the best employee experience of your direct reports, help them grow by providing continuous, constructive feedback, drive their quarterly performance reviews
  • Own the team’s mission, ways of working and engineering practices
  • Ensure staffing and the most fitted work organization, in collaboration with your own manager
  • Lead and animate transversal engineering projects, and act as a relay to communicate a clear technical vision for projects covered by your scope
  • Balance short-term deliveries and long-term projects. Collaborate with your transversal stakeholders to collectively succeed
  • Research new technologies & engineering practices to stay abreast of industry trends and standards. Come up with ideas to improve production health and resiliency
