Summary

As a Manager of Implementation Engineering at Harness.io, you'll lead the strategic planning and execution of professional services engagements, focused on implementations with high and rapid adoption. Your role involves identifying and proposing tailored services that meet customer objectives, presenting technical solutions, and developing comprehensive proposals for strategic clients. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure seamless integration of services into customer journeys while maintaining operational efficiency. Additionally, you'll play a key role in forecasting bookings, communicating risks, and reporting customer behavior trends, driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional value to our clients

About the role

  • Identify and propose standard and customized implementation services aligned with customer goals.
  • Present technical solutions to internal account teams and customers to gain alignment
  • Hands on experience implementing software delivery systems (CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes)
  • Gather feedback and approval from key stakeholders, integrating insights into programs.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Harness Services and its offerings.
  • Guide customers through legal agreements for service execution.
  • Assist in the closing process with Account Executive support.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure appropriate staffing for engagements.
  • Create playbooks addressing common objections like pricing and DIY implementations.
  • Forecast quarterly bookings using Salesforce/Clari.
  • Communicate risks to account executives and leadership.
  • Cultivate relationships with internal teams to integrate Global Services into customer journeys.
  • Participate in sales leadership forecasting.
  • Deliver enablement of implementation services to stakeholders.
  • Report customer behavior trends to Technical Program Managers and Account Executives.
  • Drive internal operational efficiency.

About you

  • Deep knowledge of CI/CD and software engineering best practices, facilitating the development and delivery of technical solutions.
  • You have a background in hands on, technical implementations of enterprise, DevOps SaaS software solutions
  • Proven track record in professional services management, including experience in identifying, proposing, and delivering tailored services to meet customer needs.
  • Strong understanding of professional services selling processes, with the ability to effectively leverage Salesforce for prospecting, forecasting, and quoting.
  • Previous experience in the DevOps space, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive operational efficiency while delivering exceptional customer value
