Who we’re looking for

  • We are looking for someone with experience in the construction space, ideally a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager
  • At least Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another construction-related field
  • 5+ years of construction or construction-related industry experience.
  • Proven track record in people management of junior project team members, in-house trades-people, and/or subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Diplomacy and patience when working through customer issues
  • Comfortable communicating with anyone, from trades-people to mid-to-senior level managers, and CEOs
  • Self-motivated, strong organizational, critical, and analytical thinking skills
  • Desire to spend 50% of the time talking with customers and willingness to travel
  • Desire to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Very good knowledge of English and the language most commonly spoken in the target geography
  • Willingness to travel to team meetings on a regular basis and as required

Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Success Manager for the Fieldwire software, you will ensure that your customers get the best out of their product or service. You will be trained as a product expert for the project management software Fieldwire and work closely with the sales and support team. As a customer advisor, you are part of the after-sales life cycle management and organize, coordinate and accompany the implementation of the application solution, offer tailor-made training and promote growth on the customer side.

  • You will work closely with prospects and existing clients (focus on clients with highest potential), connecting our customers’ workflows to our technology to demonstrate how they can reduce errors and approve efficiency, advising and guiding customers through successful platform deployments, trainings, and continuous engagement programs that ensure their satisfaction and account expansion.
  • As a Fieldwire product expert, you will partner with our Sales team and you will be integral in helping our customers extract the most value out of Fieldwire based on their business goals and objectives. We look at working with our clients like we would any other construction project we were on ourselves: if we see roadblocks, we problem-solve to find a new solution to get things done.
  • Partner with Sales to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles across the entire lifecycle of our customers
  • Perform virtual and in-person demos, trainings, and workflow consultations for customers. You are expected to be the Construction and Product expert.
  • Consult with customers to understand their current workflow and pain-points and give proactive recommendations on how to adapt to our technology, to ensure adoption and scalability at the customer’s side
  • Manage a portfolio of customers (new and existing) to help improve their Fieldwire usage and processes, build and maintain long lasting relationships with Fieldwire clients
  • Assist the product team in identifying issues and communicating prospect feedback for product improvements.
  • Connect with existing customers to engage them in marketing and events aiming at the promotion of Fieldwire in the industry

Preferred Experience:

  • Completed studies in the fields of civil engineering, architecture, mechanical engineering or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience as a project or construction manager in construction projects
  • High software affinity and ideally previous experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Strong and secure communication skills in German and English as well as enjoyment of an international work environment
  • Distinct customer and service orientation in order to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Resilience and fun in mobile work as well as virtual customer advice
  • Interest in participating in a start-up scenario in the group and helping to shape processes
  • Possibility to work undisturbed with a stable internet connection (throughout Germany).
  • Willingness to travel, especially for regular team meetings (2-3 days in a cycle of approx. 6-8 weeks)


This position is remote and based in the Netherlands.
