The leader of this team provides broad data and analytical support for Bread Financial’s digital strategy. The team delivers reporting, descriptive analysis and actionable insights that improve Bread Financial’s digital business. This is recognized in the form of improved profitability and expense reduction, increased customer acquisition, engagement and experience.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Lead a team of strong analytical and technical professionals who demonstrate solid business acumen, broad thinking, outcome-orientation and nimble approaches to insight generation.

Advance the use of data and analytics in delivering improved business performance. Develop and execute scalable analytical approaches that balances current and emerging needs of the business. Deliver and maintain effective reporting solutions. Provide analytical support for the planning, design and execution of Bread Financial’s digital strategy.

Maintain trusted working relationships with cross-functional peers and leadership while proactively serving the analytical needs of the organization. Maintain effective communication channels and ensure internally aligned actions supporting digital delivery. Provide insights, guidance and recommendations to senior leaders.

Reports to: Director or above

Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment, minimal physical requirements.

This position is currently hybrid 4-5 days per month and could change due to business need. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; Plano, TX, Draper, UT; Wilmington, DE; New York, NY; or Chicago, IL.

Direct Reports: 3-6

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Computer Science, Analytics, Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other quantitative fields

Five years or more Demonstrated understanding of customer and behavioral analytics, digital marketing, digital asset performance and data management. Ability to query databases and manipulate data for analysis purposes. Ability to communicate effectively via spoken and written word. Experience within finance, credit, consumer lending or retail industries.

Preferred Experience:

Master’s degree Marketing, Computer Science, Analytics, Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other quantitative fields

Eight years with three years of supervisory experience All of above. Technical development and delivery. Managing work in matrixed environments.

Typical Starting Range:

$130,800.00 - $237,100.00

Full Salary Range for position:

California: $150,400.00 - $296,400.00

Colorado: $130,800.00 - $249,000.00

New York: $143,800.00 - $296,400.00

Washington: $137,400.00 - $272,600.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.

Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
