As a leader of the Go-To-Market team, at Anthropic, you will use your sales and product expertise to drive adoption of Anthropic’s emerging products with some of the most ambitious companies in the world. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to win strategic deals and develop new market segments.
You are an energetic sales leader who will attract, build, and retain world-class sales talent in London, servicing the EMEA market. With your entrepreneurial spirit, operational rigor, and proven ability to drive exceptional outcomes, you will establish Anthropic’s sales processes in the region and scale the sales organization. Leveraging data and metrics, you will advance Anthropic's mission in AI safety and establish the company as a leader in this emerging market. About Anthropic
Anthropic is an AI safety and research company that’s working to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our customers and for society as a whole. Our interdisciplinary team has experience across ML, physics, policy, business and product.
Responsibilities:
- Win new business for Anthropic. Find your way to the right people at prospective customers, educate them about LLMs, and help them succeed with Anthropic. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from first outbound to contract signature
- Build Anthropic's EMEA presence
- Help Anthropic develop new market segments
- Become a trusted partner to our customers. Co-create and execute implementations alongside customer stakeholders and our engineering team
- Work cross-functionally with Biz Ops and Engineering to share feedback from customers
- Use your learnings to build and iterate on our sales playbook and processes
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 10+ years of sales experience at a high growth technology company, primarily within the AI or SaaS industry
- 5+ years of management experience
- Are able to effectively manage across disparate stakeholder groups in customer organizations
- Are comfortable presenting to and communicating with all levels of customer teams from ICs to C-level executives
- Have experience operating in fast-paced, technology start-ups, ideally in a previous sales role
- Are comfortable in unstructured environments, and have a knack for bringing order to chaos
- Are a natural people person who is as comfortable working with customers as with internal stakeholders
- Are an excellent communicator
- Are highly organized and a self-starter
- Are a structured thinker who can think analytically about market segments and prospective partners
- Have a passion for and/or experience with advanced AI systems, and feel strongly about ensuring these systems are developed safely
Annual Salary:
- The expected salary range for this position is £390,000- £465,000. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, and it includes both the annual base salary and sales bonuses.
Logistics
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in our office at least 25% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits*
Anthropic’s compensation package consists of three elements: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay fairness and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market rates.
Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. We do not have boundaries between engineering and research, and we expect all of our technical staff to contribute to both as needed.
