The Senior Data Engineer plays a crucial role in designing and implementing robust data architectures that support large-scale analytics and machine learning workloads. This position involves leading data initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and optimizing data infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities
to perform the essential functions.
- Architect, implement, and manage complex data pipelines and storage solutions.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead projects related to data integration, quality, and governance.
- Mentor junior data engineers and enforce engineering best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to define data strategy and solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in the technical field. Masters preferred
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
- Expertise with DBT and Snowflake.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.
- Expertise in big data streaming technologies (Kafka, AWS Kinesis, AWS Firehose, AWS
- Eventbridge).
- Experience in data modeling, real-time processing, and advanced analytics.
- Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day.
- Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously.
