Zafran is looking for a motivated student Production Engineer to join our team and help ensure the reliability and smooth operation of our production systems. This role is ideal for a Computer Science or Software Engineering student (2nd year or above) eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment and to work alongside experienced engineers.

As a Production Engineer, you will be on the front lines of our production environment, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability. You will gain hands-on experience with real-time systems, monitoring tools, and incident management while collaborating closely with R&D teams. This role is a great opportunity to develop practical skills in troubleshooting, automation, and production operations in a dynamic, high-scale environment.

This role is ideal for a Computer Science or Software Engineering student (2nd year or above) eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment and to work alongside experienced engineers.
What you will do:
- Real-time monitoring of production systems and alert response
- Incident triage and execution of runbooks
- Escalation to on-call senior engineers when needed
- Alert tuning and reduction of alert fatigue
- Building and improving Datadog dashboards
- Automating repetitive operational tasks
- Supporting RnD teams with manual work and configuration changes.
- Writing and maintaining runbooks
- Clean shift handover with a written report
What you will do
- Active CS / SE student (second year or above) / fresh graduate
- Terminal fluency
- Basic scripting (Python or Bash)
- Familiarity with Git
- Available for 3–5 shifts per week, including some nights/weekends
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Kubernetes / Docker basics
- AWS basics
- Familiar with Grafana / Datadog
- Previous NOC / IT/production experience
