WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The Corporate Strategy Associate will play a vital role in supporting the VP of Corporate Strategy in researching and evaluating M&A opportunities, managing investor relations, and cultivating select strategic business partnerships. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a critical role in advancing the overall growth and success of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in conducting market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and assess potential risks.
• Perform in-depth research and analysis of potential M&A and strategic partnership opportunities that align with the company's growth objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the strategic fit and potential risks associated with each opportunity.
• Assist in managing select ongoing business partnerships, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development and execution of the investor relations strategy, including creating investor presentations, and other communication materials.
• Perform ad hoc projects and investigations, using data analysis and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for improvement and drive decision-making.

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in an associate level role, preferably in investment banking, trading, consulting, venture, or a start-up environment. Knowledge of M&A practices, and partnership strategies is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and financial modeling skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to think strategically and understand the competitive landscape.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently, work with minimal supervision, and exercise sound judgment.
• Nice to have: experience with computer programming and data science
