Kinetic Automation is building a network of automated repair centers for modern vehicles. The auto industry is transitioning from mechanically complex vehicles to mechanically simple ones with complex software and technology. Kinetic aims to be the primary infrastructure-as-a-service for servicing future vehicles with our robotic repair centers, powered by our proprietary software and AI. About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mobile app developer to join our team. Kinetic’s customers today include dealerships, body shops and fleets. Our operations team is in need of a mobile app for coordinating pick-up, delivery and capturing key vehicle information. While we prefer iOS apps, we are open to considering Android apps as well.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that enhance the experience for our technicians and operations team.
2. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to understand their needs and translate them into robust app features that measure the performance and quality of the services offered.
3. Backend Integration: Seamlessly connect the iOS application with our cloud backend, ensuring data integrity and real-time synchronization.
4. Location-Based Services: Implement and optimize location-based services to provide real-time tracking and geolocation features for our robotic solutions.
5. Full Stack Knowledge: Understand and influence the technologies used in our backend. Collaborate with backend developers to ensure smooth integration and optimal performance.
6. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices. Regularly iterate on the application based on feedback and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 experience in iOS app development.
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience with location-based services and geolocation technologies.
• Strong knowledge of the entire app development stack, including frontend, backend, and database technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
