The auto industry is transitioning from mechanically complex vehicles to mechanically simple ones with complex software and technology. Kinetic aims to be the primary infrastructure-as-a-service for servicing future vehicles with our robotic repair centers, powered by our proprietary software and AI. We are a strong team of experienced robotics + automotive + shared mobility enthusiasts who have worked in self-driving, mapping, lidar, motorsport, ride-sharing and ghost kitchens. About the Role

As General Manager of Kinetic’s Las Vegas location, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, growth, and financials of our first calibration center. You will play a crucial role in establishing strategic objectives, driving business development, and ensuring operational excellence. Your leadership and vision will guide our team towards delivering exceptional calibration services, building strong client relationships, and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Over time, this position will also play a critical role in scaling Kinetic to new markets and verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the calibration center
  • Oversee the end-to-end calibration process to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement the company's short-term and long-term strategic plans
  • Drive innovation and stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement cost-effective measures to optimize profitability without compromising quality

About the Candidate

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role within the automotive industry, preferably with some collision/glass repair or dealership experience
  • Strong understanding of ADAS technologies, calibration processes, and relevant industry regulations
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing operations, driving business growth, and achieving financial targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
