Position Summary

This position involves generating pipeline reports and providing strategic guidance to the sales ecosystem through valuable insights and robust sales approaches, with a specific emphasis on the Harness software and services.

About the role

  • You will work alongside business stakeholders to prepare and execute sales campaigns and pipeline generation activities. These activities are crucial to Harness's go-to-market strategy
  • Build Pipeline Generation (PG) kits, Org Charts and Contact Lists
  • Prospecting, lead generation, qualifying leads, setting appointments for account executive
  • Research potential target markets based on our product and technology offerings and on the overall markets’ needs, and create actionable target prospects lists, also leveraging an existing network
  • Research prospects’ goals, market, strategic objectives, and pains to create tailored material to run highly productive sales campaigns (email templates, presentations)
  • Run a consultative sales process, whereas acquiring actionable information on clients’ needs and defining market opportunities accordingly is as important as closing deals, in this phase
  • Collaborating closely with account executives or sales representatives to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy
  • Research individuals online to identify and build lists of key roles
  • Respond to inbound queries

About you

  • Four year university/college degree
  • 2-3 years of work experience in Sales Development or Sales for API-based, fast-paced SaaS companies with hands-on experience in Lead generation/Sales research
  • High career trajectory and potential
  • Demonstrable experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations
  • You would be responsible for generating a target no. of qualified leads in a month for the sales team using outbound outreach (email, cold calls, social selling)
  • Consistent overachievement in previous roles.
  • Experience in working with Salesforce, LinkedIn sales navigator and other sales research tools
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing ambitious sales targets and quotas
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive presence
  • Have the ability to collaborate across different teams effectively and efficiently
