What are we looking for:

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our elite development team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a pivotal contributor, you’ll be instrumental in constructing our state-of-the-art conversational AI product amidst a rapidly evolving and high-velocity landscape. We’re scouting for a hands-on, seasoned, and technically senior developer who thrives on crafting robust, scalable cloud services that lay the groundwork for our revolutionary conversational experience across enterprises.

Your core responsibility:

• Architect and code exemplary solutions, working with highly distributed microservices to broaden our Conversational AI platform.
• Showcase good technical leadership, raise the technical bar, foster a data-driven culture, and cultivate a collaborative and trusting team environment.
• Generate clarity and direction within complex problems not limited to just technical domain.
• Serve as an exemplar of an open, honest, and inclusive problem-solving ethos.
• Proactively enhance quality and reliability and engineer internal tools to push the engineering team’s scale by 100x.
• Lead with autonomy and collective decisions, optimizing our finite resources and time.
• Engage in effective communication and collaboration across various company functions to ensure customer success above all.
• Be a champion and advance security, DevOps, and site reliability engineering practices within the team.

Qualifications:

• A CS degree (BS/MS/PhD) coupled with 5+ years of experience in crafting and deploying enterprise-grade products.
• 5+ years of hands-on software design and coding expertise in Go, Java, C#, C++, or other object-oriented languages.
• 3+ years of familiarity with object stores, NoSQL databases, and/or relational databases.
• 2+ year track record of developing, deploying, monitoring, and delivering robust, scalable cloud services.
• Prior experience in constructing conversational bots or machine learning will be highly regarded.
• Proficiency in containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
