About the role



We are entering a critical phase of national expansion. We are seeking a Clinical Recruiter to lead our clinical and outreach hiring on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is designed to start immediately as a contract engagement with the distinct intention of converting to a full-time, permanent position in the second half of 2026.


The Clinical Recruiter will manage sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and hiring top clinical talent—including Behavioral Health Care Managers, Psychiatric Consultants, and Outreach and Engagement Specialists to support Colla Health’s national growth. This role blends high-touch candidate engagement with strong operational coordination to ensure a seamless, values-aligned hiring process.



Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Clinical Recruiting: Own the process from sourcing to offer for critical clinical roles (LSW, LPC, BHNP) and select non-clinical operational roles.

  • Pipeline Building: Develop and nurture a network of behavioral health professionals across multiple states, anticipating hiring needs before they become urgent.

  • Operations and Data: Manage the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), ensure recruiting operations are sound, and maintain data integrity on key hiring metrics

  • Candidate Experience: Act as a key ambassador of Colla Health, ensuring every candidate—regardless of hiring outcome—has a professional, empathetic, and transparent experience.



Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, specifically within healthcare / behavioral health. Experience hiring LCSWs, LPCs or Psych NPs highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of clinical licensure pathways and state-by-state requirements (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psych NP/MD, etc.)

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source, engage and evaluate clinicians with professionalism and empathy

  • Evidence of past success in a rapidly scaling environment, implementing and improving hiring practices

  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills

  • Availability to start as a contractor (estimating 20-30 hours/wk to start) with the intention of converting to full-time in the second half of 2026



Benefits

  • On Contract, Hourly rate of $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
  • Upon converting to Full-Time, package to include salary plus full Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k and flexible PTO.
