About the role

Chime is looking for an MBA Intern to join the Strategic Initiatives team within our Member Experience organization. This is an opportunity to combine strategy, operations, and member experience design and will allow you to learn in a FinTech environment while playing a role in advancing a critical part of Chime’s business.

This role is structured as a 3 month engagement. The starting hourly rate offered for this role and target level of experience will begin at $34 and up to $50. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Tackle some of Chime’s biggest strategic priorities in customer support organization
  • Get an up-close understanding of our members and their needs
  • Research and analyze data to develop a full diagnosis of a problem or question
  • Manage a large and varied cross-functional team of stakeholders to develop (and potentially implement) member-centric solutions
  • Be a valuable member of a larger team of strategists and line-of-business experts in the member experience space
  • Have fun learning from and about other MBA interns across Chime’s different functions

To thrive in this role, you:

  • Have experience working at a top tier management consulting firm; prior experience at a high-growth technology, payments, or FinTech startup a plus
  • Have razor sharp problem solving and analytical skills - Excel required; SQL a bonus.
  • Derive satisfaction and meaning by digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and answering big, ambiguous questions
  • Have experience working on large projects with cross-functional teams
  • Are flexible and enjoy doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects
  • Have a low ego and are comfortable working directly well with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Are currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program

So far, we’re well-loved by our members and proud to have helped millions of people unlock financial progress, whether they started a savings account, bought their first car or home, opened a business, or went to college. Every day, we’re inspired by our members’ dreams and successes, big and small.
