Job Summary
The Pricing Strategy Analyst will provide analyses and forecasts of credit program portfolio performance to support internal partners and corporate development decisions for new business and renewal prospects, promotional pricing, file performance tracking, and ad-hoc projects as needed. An individual in this role will use a disciplined data-driven approach and a strong understanding of portfolio profitability. This individual will assist in developing insightful analyses to provide concise recommendations for leadership to evaluate & prioritize initiatives and capabilities.Job Description
Essential Job Functions
Team Collaboration- Work with a cross functional team to determine reasonable assumptions and inputs to build the business case.
Business Case Development – Assist in creating presentations to present financials to senior leadership to help with the decision making and prioritization of global initiatives / projects. Develops cash flow models to evaluate risk and return via metrics such as ROI, ROA, and NPV. These will be used to support business cases and opportunities such as credit card portfolio acquisitions, start-ups, and business strategy. Ability to maintain organization while multi-tasking, paying attention to detail and setting priorities.
Reporting and Documentation- Ensures support and maintenance of key reports used to analyze financial performance. Assist in the review process of contracts and ensures compliance with modeled intentions. Completes research of competitor information and client specific research while communicating cross-functionally as needed. Utilizes excellent written and verbal communication to present research.
Model Enhancements – Recommends and prepares enhancements to models and documentation as necessary.
Presentation - Utilizes excellent written and verbal communication to present research, analysis, and recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams.
Financial analysis - Complete analysis and forecasting of financial performance and modeling for new business deals and contract renewals. Assist in the preparation of analyses, findings, and/or recommendations to be shared with leadership. Compiles and analyzes profit and loss statements (P&Ls) of numerous verticals. Analyzes and understands company financial statements. Analyzes client performance and trends to identify opportunities to optimize profit as well as protect the company. Is engaged in client discussions, and assists with the identification of objectives and success metrics. Shares findings and best practices with peers and management.
Time and Workload Management – Comfortable working under tight deadlines and varying workloads.
Reports to: Pricing Manager/Senior Manager
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements: Normal office environment
This position is currently hybrid 3-4 days per month and could change due to business need. This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 60 miles of Columbus, OH; Chadds Ford, PA; New York NY; Plano, TX; Wilmington, DE.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education
Some experience (may include classroom, internship, or work experience) in an analytical role focusing on responsibilities such as P&L statements, financial statements, or other reporting utilizing Excel, SQL or similar technology
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Similar Field
One or more years strong analytical positions (financial services, consulting, credit card industry background preferred), 1-year experience (may include classroom, internship, or work experience) in an analytical role focusing on responsibilities such as P&L statements, financial statements, or other reporting utilizing Excel, SQL or similar technology, financial modeling

Typical Starting Range:
$54,100.00 - $98,000.00Full Salary Range for position:
California: $62,000.00 - $122,500.00Colorado: $54,100.00 - $103,000.00New York: $59,500.00 - $122,500.00Washington: $56,800.00 - $112,400.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safety Time per calendar year at the beginning of each year and is prorated in the associate’s first year of employment.
Hired associates will be able to elect to purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
