We’re looking for a passionate and curious Security Research Student to join our Research team at Astrix. This is a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies in the emerging domain of Non-Human Identity (NHI) Security, working alongside experienced researchers in cybersecurity, cloud, and AI.

• Conduct in-depth security research on cloud platforms, SaaS, and AI applications — focusing on IAM and identity security.
• Explore and analyze web technologies (HTTP, proxies, REST APIs, HTML, JavaScript) to strengthen our understanding of attack surfaces in the NHI space.
• Develop tools, scripts, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate security risks and potential attack vectors.
• Collaborate closely with R&D and contribute insights to improve Astrix’s product security posture.
• Share findings internally and externally through research summaries and community publications.

• Currently pursuing a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Availability for ~3 working days per week, including 2 days in our Tel Aviv (Sarona) office.
• Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, with prior experience (military, academic, or industry).
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud and SaaS platforms, particularly IAM and security features.
• Good understanding of networking, HTTP, REST APIs, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, and authentication frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience or interest in writing security blogs or research articles – advantage.
• Experience in web application security, vulnerability research, or AI security – advantage.
