About the Role

We’re looking for an early-career Renewals Manager to support our growing APJ customer base. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role designed for someone with 2–3 years of experience in a SaaS commercial or customer-facing role who is ready to take ownership of renewal execution for a defined book of business. You’ll work closely with Customer Success, Account Management, and Sales to manage renewal timelines, identify risk, and deliver value-aligned renewal outcomes. This role is intentionally scoped for developing talent - it is not a senior or strategic renewals role - and offers a strong foundation for building renewal expertise, commercial judgment, and long-term growth at Abnormal.

What you will do

  • Own and execute the end-to-end renewal process for a defined set of accounts or territory, from early engagement through close
  • Manage renewal timelines and customer communication to ensure timely, predictable outcomes
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Account Management to maintain strong customer health and retention
  • Proactively identify renewal risk indicators and contribute to mitigation plans in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Support renewal strategy and participate in contract and pricing discussions that balance customer needs with Abnormal’s business objectives
  • Assist with pricing conversations, contract execution, and renewal documentation with appropriate guidance
  • Identify and support expansion opportunities, including licensing true-ups and value-based upsells, in partnership with Sales and Account Management
  • Deliver accurate renewal forecasting and reporting, leveraging data to inform prioritization and next steps
  • Use customer insights to support value-based renewal conversations and positioning
  • Collaborate with channel and partner teams to help ensure smooth, aligned renewal experiences

Must Haves

  • 2–3 years of experience in Renewals, Customer Success, Account Management, or a related SaaS commercial role
  • Experience supporting or owning contract renewals, including exposure to negotiation and close
  • Foundational understanding of customer lifecycle management and common renewal risk indicators
  • Experience participating in pricing, terms, or objection-handling conversations with customer stakeholders
  • Ability to assess customer health signals and translate insights into renewal actions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce); Gainsight experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills to support forecasting, reporting, and renewal planning
  • Ability to ramp quickly on new products, processes, and tools
