About the Role

Abnormal Security is looking for an ambitious and growth-minded Outbound Product Manager to drive innovation for our Inbound Data Team (IDT) which is part of the Behavioral Event Security Product (BESP) group. At Abnormal, we keep our customers—ranging from Global 2000 organizations to small businesses—safe from complex and cutting edge attacks that have the potential to cause financial loss and disrupt business operations. Our novel approach to email security, account takeover detection, and other use cases has resulted in us becoming one of the fastest-growing security companies of all time.The IDT team owns the data integrations that make critical data available to protect our customers via our Unified Account Take Over product line that goes beyond email to provide visibility into cross-platform user behavior and centralize compromised account detection and remediation across identity, collaboration, and cloud infrastructure applications. This product line is one of the biggest bets at Abnormal and will drive a significant amount of company growth over the next several years.As a Senior Outbound Product Manager, you will help drive the IDT team’s relationships with external partners, with customers and with our GTM team. You will also work closely with stakeholders across R&D, GTM, and the executive team to advance your areas of product ownership and deliver value to customers. What You Will Do

  • Deeply understand the products/features you own and closely monitor the intake of customer feedback, as well as the external release of new capabilities

  • Drive the adoption of new integrations with the Abnormal customer base both directly with customers and indirectly via championing efforts to make our system as self service as possible

  • Procure licenses and ensure that we are in development partnership programs as required for the platforms with which we are integrating

  • Help the team with API research for a platform and create a Plan of Attack for the integrations

Must Haves

  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in a sales engineering, product management or other combination of customer facing & security domain related roles

  • Experience working on technical problems, identifying user needs, sizing product investments, prioritizing opportunities and defining requirements for solutions

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both internal stakeholders and customers

  • Prior experience working with Auth mechanisms, basic audit log analysis, API products and navigating API documentation and building integrations while serving as the liaison between engineering and external stakeholders

  • High operational excellence and ownership in all work that is undertaken

  • Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to reason through ambiguous problems and make effective and well-justified decisions

  • Extreme ownership, growth mindset, and willingness to learn quickly in a high paced startup environment

Nice to Have

  • Domain knowledge of Microsoft o365, G Suite and Okta ecosystems is a huge plus

  • Prior experience at enterprise SaaS / B2B companies.

  • Prior startup experience

  • Working experience with tools like Postman and Jira is a plus.

  • Analytical skills and intermediate to advanced data analysis skills (SQL, etc.)

  • Prior experience working as a software engineer.
