About the Role

Abnormal Security is looking for a GTM Finance Manager to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The FP&A team owns company financial planning, forecasting, financial consolidation and reporting, supporting business insight to sales, marketing, customer success, engineering and foundation teams. This role will help us develop the necessary go to market insights and business partnerships to increase top line growth in the most efficient manner . The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of working along with the sales, marketing and customer success teams. The GTM Finance manager is required to deliver critical business intelligence that effectively drives decision-making, fostering a proactive approach towards organizational goals and objectives.

What you will do

  • Work closely with Marketing, Strategy and Analytics to understand financial resources needed to drive top of funnel demand and optimize lead generation to ensure that the company is investing its demand generation resources in the right channels and campaigns.
  • Lead all aspects of financial planning for marketing, sales and customer success team
  • Monitor KPIs for campaign spend, lead gen, logo acquisition & funnel efficiency compare them vs our plan, forecast and peer benchmarking
  • Manage Marketing Operational Expenses (Opex), providing clarity to Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Accounting for consolidation.
  • Evaluate and monitor strategic Marketing, Sales and Customer Success investments with a strong focus on return-on-investment.
  • Contribute to increase our forecast accuracy in any GTM area for both revenue and operational expenses
  • Be responsible for weekly and monthly Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) forecasting process coordinating with relevant teams across the company.
  • Update ARR actual vs forecast, understand the reasons behind variances and work with business partners to help develop actionable plans for closing the gap
  • Provide customized insights for Enterprise, Mid-Market (MM), and Channel businesses to drive growth.
  • Work closely with business partners to understand their teams actual and future capacity in terms of ability to invest marketing dollars as well as operationalize these efforts. Help get clarity on future capacity recommendations with ROI and top line focus

Must Haves

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Customer success finance roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience building strong business relationships across different functional areas
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Builder by nature, like getting your hands dirty and driving net new insights / processes that help shape a hyper growth organization
  • Strong sense of how to use data to answer critical business questions and are motivated by unlocking that capability across the company
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and are customer obsessed - always going the extra mile to deliver high quality work for your stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Cyber-security and SaaS industries
  • Experience working in a fast growth private company in series C or above

Base pay range:
$127,000$146,000 USD
San Francisco/New York Base pay range:
$146,000$168,000 USD
