Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of Account Management will be responsible for the leadership and continuous improvement of the Account Management team. This role will ensure the achievement of financially sustainable membership growth and employer group retention while providing the highest levels of member satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the vision of Account Management and its evolution for Sidecar Health
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all accountable retention goals
  • Oversee hiring, training, evaluation, and retention of employees within Account Management department
  • Develop and implement long term strategies and best practices to drive the future of Account Management
  • Provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversight in launching new markets
  • Coach and develop the Account Management team to achieve defined metrics
  • Track and ensure the highest level of service is provided to group members and their brokers
  • Monitor key business performance metrics to drive business results and present them to Leadership Team
  • Continuously improve tools, technology, and processes to optimize effectiveness

What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success or a similar role within a tech company or insurance company, with a minimum of 4+ years in a leadership position
  • Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong client management relationship skills with a proven track record of success
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing analytics strategies aligned with business goals
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently
  • Collaboration and Influencing Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and generate insights
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare industry trends and regulations is preferred
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture
  • Open to travel
