Solutions Engineer (USA)

Posted on Wednesday, October 11, 2023

Neon is a multi-cloud Serverless Postgres provider that is designed to make Postgres developers more productive in the cloud. We manage clusters, storage, and compute automatically, so all you need to do is connect and develop. We have separated compute and storage so they can scale independently. This keeps costs low during development and makes it easy to deploy into production. Our scale-to-zero pricing means if your database is not being used, your credit card doesn’t get refused.

With a generous free tier, this is already the database you want for your next project. Now add database branching, which means instantaneous copying of any database at any point in its life cycle, and you have a Postgres that is ready for modern development workflows.

Location: US-based

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, to understand and analyze customer needs and effectively communicate how our solution can address those needs.

Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and objectives, providing technical guidance and solutions during the pre-sales process.

Solution Demonstrations: Create and deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our database management solutions.

Proof of Concept (PoC): Assist customers in planning and executing PoCs to validate the suitability of our solutions for their specific requirements.

Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations and workshops to prospects and clients, ensuring a clear understanding of our products and services.

Requirements Analysis: Work closely with customers to analyze their technical requirements, providing tailored solutions and recommendations.

Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' offerings to effectively position our products and highlight their advantages.

Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports, including solution proposals, architecture diagrams, and project plans.

Collaboration: Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback from customer interactions, helping shape future product enhancements.
