Who You Are

HomeLight is seeking a Loan Processor to join the Home Loans team to process and close BBYS (Buy Before You Sell) Loans. You have the basic understanding of how a loan moves through the mortgage process. You have the ability to multitask and keep your responsibilities well organized.

What You’ll Do Here

The Loan Processor’s primary function is to manage a pipeline of 50+ BBYS Loans. The Loan Processor will be responsible for taking BBYS loans from the loan setup stage all the way through funding. Ensuring all files meet an on-time closing.

  • Loan File Setup
  • Third party orders
  • Drawing closing documents
  • Coordinating closing with Title Agent
  • Reviewing closing documents for funding

What You Bring

  • Worked in the mortgage industry 3+ years
  • Prior experience drawing and reviewing closing documents
  • Ability to follow documented process and notice when procedures can be improved
  • Can work in a fast paced environment that is always evolving
  • Experience with Encompass, Google apps, Slack and ability to learn internal systems quickly
