Position Summary

Recently Harness acquired OverOps, a lead in Continuous Reliability. OverOps tracks errors
and logged errors in production environments and shows them on top of the user's code with
the variable state at the moment of the error. Under Harness, we are shifting left the reliability to
the developer

We are looking for a senior developer to join this team. We are using the latest software
architectures to make code run faster and easier to fix, secure and optimize. We are building the
tools we would like to use ourselves every day. We are looking for an experienced engineer to
join our team and help us build the real-time native agent, write cross-platform code, research
and master Java and .NET virtual machine internals, optimize code and coordinate between all
layers of the system. You will be responsible for developing our server monitoring and analysis
agent, putting you on the same platform as virtual machine developers, knowing every bit and
quirk in languages like Java, Groovy, C# andVB.Net

About you

4+ years programming experience - in any programming language, preferred Java/.Net/C++
Strong skills and love for OO
Bachelor degree in CS or equivalent
C++ experience - at least 2 years
Experience in multiple operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS, AIX
Experience in distributed systems or environments - Docker, Kubernetes etc. - a big plus

Work Location

The successful candidate will be expected to be onsite, in Bangalore, India at least 3 days / week
