POSITION SUMMARY
Harness is looking for a Senior/Principal Product Manager responsible for driving the Continuous Verification component of the Harness Software Delivery Platform. In this role, you are chartered to enable developers/DevOps teams ship software with the highest reliability possible. The uniquely Harness way of ensuring such level of reliability is to continuously verify the health of software services before and during critical changes such as deployments, feature flag rollouts and chaos engineering experiments. Changes that lead to verification failures are automatically rolled back, thus ensuring that customer experience never gets adversely impacted. Harness Continuous Verification is powered by unsupervised machine learning algorithms applied on data queried from leading observability solutions including those in the APM, infrastructure monitoring and log analytics categories. This is a high impact, high visibility role that requires immense cross-functional execution spanning Engineering, Sales, Marketing, UX, Research, Customer Success and Support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • Own the "whole" product experience
  • Engage with customers, develop insights into what is possible, and uncover unarticulated customer needs to drive customer success
  • Build product roadmap based on customers needs, market, and technology trends
  • Define product specs, user stories, mockups, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering or independently
  • Interact and collaborate with Support, Customer Success, and field teams, to understand customer issues and drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, SRE, and release teams to plan, drive and execute product releases cycles.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to support the creation of customer-driven messaging and content

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in product management with SaaS / Cloud companies
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in DevOps, application/error monitoring or log analytics space
  • Strong understanding cloud-native application architectures and/or machine learning
  • Comfortable with Kubernetes & containers
  • Good understanding of AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven product decision-making mindset
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Work Location

  • This role will be an On-Site role in the Mountain View office 3 days a week.
