Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a resourceful, responsible, and reliable full-time (32hrs/week) Office Manager to manage and support our San Francisco office onsite, four days a week. This role entails managing all facets of office operations and playing a key role in shaping our company culture. What you’ll be doing

A day in the life of the Office Manager will find you managing tasks related to office operations, coordinating meetings and events, and providing essential administrative support. You'll frequently be solving problems and providing independent judgements related to:

  • Office Access and Hospitality Management
  • Office Supplies and Office Maintenance
  • Office Administrative Support

The primary responsibilities of our next Office Manager will be:

  • Managing office access for employees and guests, including meeting room reservations.
  • Managing coordination of daily lunches, catering for on-site visits, and assisting with company event planning and execution.
  • Managing the restocking of office supplies and essentials, maintaining a clean and tidy office environment.
  • Managing distributions of company swag and incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Managing communications with building management and documenting office management processes.
  • Utilizing independent judgment and discretion to perform ad-hoc duties such as travel arrangements, addressing office inquiries, and handling miscellaneous tasks as needed.
  • This job is primarily an office management position. However, it will require the ability to stand, walk, and frequently move items/boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various needs.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

At Fieldwire, we’re looking for our next Office Manger to have the following skills and experiences:

  • Ability to work onsite at the San Francisco office four days a week.
  • 1 year minimum previous experience in a similar role at a tech startup.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and capable of managing and anticipating needs and taking initiatives with independent judgment.
  • Possess strong EQ with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to remain calm under pressure and effectively find solutions when faced with unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and willingness to step in to assist and support others at all times.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace).

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $28.85/hr - $31.25/hr (Annually: $60,000 - $65,000)

The salary & hourly range represents the low and high end for this job, the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary you may be eligible for a corporate bonus which can range up to 20%.

Where is the job located?

This role is on-site, in San Francisco, California. Our headquarters are based in beautiful San Francisco and our office is centrally located right off of Embarcadero Bart station.
