About You

You have subject matter expertise in one or more technical areas. You understand the “big picture” when it comes to Cybersecurity ecosystems and can help piece together the puzzle to help companies solve cybersecurity and technology challenges. You have a proven track record of being brought in as a trusted technology advisor (overlay) to help overcome challenges during a sales cycle on strategic and large opportunities. Being a conduit between the GTM (Go to Market) Team and Product/Engineering team, helping create and drive customer driven products/outcomes is something you excel at. Helping others to be their best is in your nature, as you understand leveling others up has significant impact.

In this job, you will bring these skills

  • Subject Matter Expertise in a desired technical area(s) (eg; Microsoft 365, SEG vendor, threat intelligence, etc)Proven track record of earning “technical advisor” status in large/strategic customers through solution selling and understanding customer needs
  • Provide technical expertise in your subject matter area(s) to assist in winning key sales opportunities
  • Be a sounding board for product management to help build new products, conveying customer point of view and helping bridge technical gapsU
  • Understand in depth customer feedback. Ability to empathize, collect and convey customer feedback in a manner which the engineering team can consume and build features that deliver outcomes for customers.
  • Helping product management prioritize requests based on factors such as the size of an opportunity, number of customers and impact is a keyAbility to assist in creating technical training content (live or recorded) based on TOI (Transfer of Information) from Product/Engineering to GTM (Go to Market) Team(s)
  • CISSP, CEH, GIAC GSEC and other relevant certifications
  • Excellent communication, follow-up skills and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategy and be involved in closing key strategic deals where your area of expertise can influence a deal
  • Build trusted relationships with customers’ technical staff and leadership in large/strategic dealsArchitect complex solutions that achieve customer requirements
  • Be the conduit between the larger GTM team and EPD
  • Drive SE/EPD Interlock program through regular review of field sales requests.
  • Correlate and help prioritize importance of enhancement requests (RFEs)Create/deliver training content to enable/uplevel SE Team
  • Stay on top of industry trends to provide input and influence the organization cross functionally
  • Stay up to date on product/company roadmap, acting as a “field PM” delivering roadmap sessions when necessary

Base salary range:
$139,800$175,000 USD
