Senior HR Manager at Credit Sesame

The Director of HR will play a key role shaping and driving the people and culture agenda while helping the business succeed and employee engagement thrive. Reporting to the Credit Sesame President, the Director of HR will partner with senior leaders and their teams to identify people opportunities and develop impactful programs.

What you’ll be doing…

    • Build a world-class, energetic and diverse Credit Sesame culture with emphasis on employee performance, engagement, retention and career development
    • Help drive and up-level all aspects of people operations including: onboarding, performance management, benefits, total rewards and learning
    • Create and iterate new and existing talent programs accelerating team performance
    • Roll out and manage change management initiatives
    • Create innovative metrics via the company HRIS system Bamboo, measuring employee success
    • Develop, review and implement company policies and initiatives to further maintain and develop Credit Sesame’s culture and growth
    • Review, track and strategically enhance employee benefits in order to support a growing and diverse employee population
    • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure a smooth candidate to employee transition with the company new hire onboarding program
    • Engage with leadership and employees on employee relations
    • Partner with finance to further refine the company 401K program

What you’ll bring to the table…

    • Ten plus years experience operating within and/or leading the People function through scaling phase of a startup
    • BA/BS in business administration, psychology or other related discipline
    • Experience working in a faced paced, high growth, dynamic business environment; tech industry experience highly desired       
    • The desire to build, create and rollout talent programs is top priority; a self-starter mindset is absolutely necessary  
    • A solid track record of influencing senior business leaders while demonstrating excellent decision quality        
    • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization
    • The ability to travel to both Credit Sesame locations - San Francisco and Mountain View a must!
