Senior Marketing Manager, User Acquisition at Credit Sesame

The Senior Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for scaling Credit Sesame user acquisition programs. In this role you will grow our current campaigns, and explore new opportunities to bring in users. You should have a track record of acquiring new users in a cost-effective way, while maintaining a great ROI.

What will you do?

    • Build and manage paid user acquisition campaigns on Adwords, Facebook, Apple  Search, and other channels
    • A/B test new images, copy, audiences, and landing pages
    • Collaborate on experimental marketing strategies
    • Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Analysts, and Engineering to ensure that we deliver best-in-class acquisition campaigns, user engagement, and tracking capabilities
    • Understand target market and its needs
    • Manage channel budgets and tactics to meet ROI targets, and fill out daily reporting
    • Report on successes and challenges of marketing campaigns, analyzing them and optimizing them based on data

Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree with an understanding of consumer financial products and services
    • Five plus years of online user acquisition experience in a consumer-focused company
    • Hands-on experience working directly in / with Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Apple Search Ads and demonstrable experience of achieving outstanding results 
    • Big plus for experience with Google’s UAC platform
    • Hands-on experience working directly in the Facebook ads manager platform and demonstrable success in optimizing campaigns by placement, audience and creative
    • Experience with managing 3rd party agencies and ensuring that they are consistently achieving and surpassing our KPI’s and delivering value
    • Understanding of marketing ROI and how to calculate user profitability based on CPI, CPC, CPM investment
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, with a keen ability to articulate results and learning
    • Thorough knowledge of tracking links, pixels, and marketing attribution
    • Track record of outstanding marketing campaign results
    • Experience managing and allocating a large monthly budget
