Senior Data Analyst at Eero

Data powers the future of eero. We rely on data to inform and drive product decisions, improve network and mesh performance, set marketing strategies, enhance factory testing, provide better customer support and much more. As a Senior Data Analyst at eero, you will participate in new product, customer support, and engineering initiatives by driving analytical rigor across the organization and guiding informed decision making. Working closely with our product & engineering leadership, you will drive regular performance reporting on company and customer health, including troubleshooting any data quality issues. In this role, you will be the voice that carries our data across the company by applying your deep SQL and analytical skills to complex data problems over a wide range of domains.

You will…

Identify opportunities to use data to influence, support, and execute our product roadmap
Build and automate actionable analytics and reporting for key business processes
Partner with stakeholders from concept to actionable concrete measurements
Use visualization tools to provide easily understandable dashboards and analytic results
Innovate to derive meaning from new data sources and devise new measurement frameworks
Use your statistical skills to provide quantitative data insights
Mentor others within eero in SQL, Analytics, statistics, and all things data

Currently, you…

Have 3+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis with a demonstrable business impact
Are an expert in SQL with the ability to tune complex SQL
Possess strong analytic skills and the ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights, including identifying key trends in data and reconciling data across various sources
Are excited by translating quantitative data into compelling, intelligible visualizations using tools such as Looker or Tableau
Enjoy working with very large data sets and modeling them appropriately in data stores such as Redshift, Hive, Presto, etc.
Are deeply familiar with in the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Hive, Presto, Pig, Impala,etc.) or with MPP Data Warehouses (Exadata, Netezza, Vertica, etc)
Have demonstrable general purpose coding experience with a dynamic language such as Python, Ruby, Node.js, PHP, Clojure, etc
Possess advanced statistics knowledge combined with skills in R or Python Pandas
Have a degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields, advanced degree preferred
Are confident in your communication and presentation skills

Bonus Points if you…

Have interest, knowledge, and some experience in Machine Learning
Have built production quality ETL data pipelines
Have coding experience in languages such as Scala, Java, C++, C#, or Go
