Project Manager at Telenav

As a Project Manager, you will be charged with creating, leading, designing and implementing the technical vision for innovative products and services across the organisation. Working closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads, you will leverage your deep knowledge in highly-scalable systems to design truly innovative mapping solutions while incorporating the agility and flexibility in the design to accommodate the rapid changes of the technology landscape.

As a Project Manager in Telenav you will be working closely with engineering leads, product managers and development teams with the focus on initiating, planning, executing and organising the work towards ensuring project goals and success.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and manage project scope
• Schedule and plan together with engineering project activities to fulfil objectives and satisfy project requirements
• Build positive professional relationships with clients and associates
• Ensure proper methodologies in order to achieve expected quality
• Collaborate with product management and other business units
• Alignment with company processes and generate weekly reports for all projects portfolio
• Attend weekly meetings with US or China peers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience (in project management)
• Extensive knowledge about AGILE software development processes
• Experience with bug-tracking and version control tools
• Knowledge about software development processes (automated QC efforts / Quality management, continuous integration, test driven development)
• Strong skills in deadline management and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English

Beneficial additional skills:

• Knowledge about business processes (strong negotiation skills, change management skills)
• Experience with international clients
• Project Management certifications
• Familiar with Automotive project management methodologies for quality standards (SPICE, ASIL, etc.)
