What You'll Do

As the Product Marketing Manager for the Global Access Team, you'll work on bringing the power of Uber to the next billion riders in emerging markets. In this role, you'll take part in fundamentally transforming access to mobility by building new products and features the change the way people get around in emerging markets.

You'll use data and the insights to recommend product strategies that improve the user experience in key emerging markets globally, in close partnership with the product team. You'll find inspiring new ways to communicate and position features, partnerships, and products that makes Uber a uniquely convenient and reliable transportation option for this next wave of users. You'll work in tandem with global marketing teams to define and execute regionally meaningful and resonant go-to-market strategies and campaigns that drive adoption and awareness for the products you launch.

What You'll Do:

  • Deploy effective marketing campaigns that drive buzz and adoption for the products you bring to market
  • Design and refine marketing strategies to drive feature usage and positive business outcomes
  • Partner with PM to drive product growth projects and the overall roadmap and positioning of new features and products in partnership with PM, engineering, operations and design leaders
  • Collaborate on scalable GTM strategies and positioning with global marketing partners to bring new products and features to market in priority regions

What you'll Need:

  • Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology & operations approach to business
  • 5-7 years marketing experience delivering highly successful growth, retention and/or re-engagement strategies. Previous product marketing experience is preferred
  • The ability to leverage data to influence business decisions
  • The skill to articulate the essence of products and the value they create by developing a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan
  • The willingness and know-how to deeply understand your market, customers and competition to then integrate these insights into your product development and marketing strategies
  • An "owner" personality and "can do" attitude: You're a true believer in the work you drive and are biased towards action
  • Solid collaboration skills: You know how to engage and mobilize multiple teams to drive execution towards shared goals
