The Uber product team turns complex problems into simple solutions, building for the intersection of the digital and physical worlds to bring people what they want at the push of a button. You'll work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and disciplines, from artists to economists. We're data-driven, creative, and obsessed with building experiences that make a positive difference in people's lives. As the Product Marketing Manager for the Rider Experience, you'll work on the heart of what makes Uber magical for riders around the world: ride requests, pickups, and on-trip controls. You'll identify opportunities to make the Uber rider app work better for specific use cases and audiences, and find inspiring new ways to communicate what makes Uber a uniquely convenient transportation option.

What You'll Do

  • Shape the roadmap for new rider products in partnership with PM, engineering, operations and design leaders
  • Own the marketing strategy for new rider products and features
  • Run effective launch marketing campaigns to drive buzz and adoption for the products you build
  • Design and refine marketing strategies to drive feature usage and positive business outcomes

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years consumer marketing experience, with experience delivering growth and engagement.
  • Product strategy: You can collaborate with PM, engineering, design and data leads to create a product vision and accompanying development timeline.
  • Storyteller: You're able to craft a narrative across different channels - you know how to match the message to the medium.
  • Positioning skills: You are able to articulate the essence of products and why they matter. You can develop an content strategy, and act as a copywriter.
  • Finger-tippinesses with data: You are able to get the data you need and turn it into a story.
  • Market research experience: You know your market, customers and competition, and you're able to at bring this information into your marketing strategies.
